Patrick Yarborough
Patrick loves trying cases for clients in technology, real estate, oil-and-gas, medicine, finance, and shipping.
Patrick is a proven trial lawyer whose record reflects decisive victories at every stage of litigation. Time and again, he has prevailed when the stakes were high—securing a total defense verdict in “60 seconds” in a sexual harassment case, a confidential seven-figure international arbitration award, a $3.4 million arbitration award, a $1.4 million arbitration award, seven appeals, two pretrial dismissals, a “walk away” settlement for 11 defendants with no counterclaims on the first day of trial (with Ben Foster and Web Beard), a complete defense verdict on behalf of three former directors of a property owners’ association (with Michael Killingsworth), and "unsubstantiated" findings in numerous internal investigations. He also serves on the Plaintiffs’ Interim Steering Committee of the In re Meta Pixel Tax Filing Cases and is jointly prosecuting the Google Analytics Tax Filing Cases.
Patrick is also a go-to local partner for Texas data-privacy cases. His team has filed several data-breach class actions in Texas state and federal courts last year alone. He also regularly splits fees with plaintiffs’ lawyers to enforce their Texas state-court judgments, including in a $1 million recovery less than 30 days after entering his appearance in the case.
Patrick cut his teeth at one of the country's premier litigation boutiques, AZA, and before that, he clerked for U.S. District Judge Mark E. Fuller for in Alabama and Chief Justice Nathan L. Hecht at the Supreme Court of Texas.
